Weighing Yourself

Is the number on the weighing scale getting you down? If you’re on a mission to lose weight, the number on the scale won’t always reflect your efforts. This can be discouraging especially when you’ve put in so much effort. It can be tempting to throw in the towel.

It’s important not to focus so much on the number. It’s more important to enjoy the activities you’re doing in an effort to get fit. You can expand your workouts to include more activities as you get fitter. This journey is to be enjoyed; take it one step at a time.

Don’t give up. Your main focus should be to stay active. Keep your body in motion in any way you can. Take advantage of the weekends, especially now that the weather is warmer. Go outside for a walk or bike ride. Change up your routine with a hike on a popular trail to keep you motivated. Changing up your routine is vital for motivation and keeping you in shape. There’s no chance of getting bored with any particular exercise, as each week offers the opportunity to explore different activities and exercises.

Varying your workout activities isn’t only beneficial for keeping you motivated; it’s also important for targeting areas that your regular workouts may not have targeted. You’ll see better results much faster when your workout routine is varied.
