LET'S GET BETTER

therapist

James Kalenderian, PT
President, SoundSide Physical Therapy

Graduated from the University at Buffalo in 1999
Bachelors of Science Degrees in Physical Therapy and Sport & Exercise Physiology

When I became a physical therapist my goal was to provide outstanding one-on-one care. Not satisfied with the quality of care that was available, I decided to venture out on my own. I began small, visiting homes of my patients to provide the excellent one-on-one service that I believe in. The overwhelming response I received from my home care services led me to open my first clinic in September 2001.

It has been a pleasure being part of the local community which has enabled us to relocate my practice nine years later to a much larger state-of-the-art medical complex located in the heart of Locust Valley. The goal of my outpatient orthopedic facility is to continue the intense one-on-one attention while offering the best environment for rehabilitation. I have invested in new state-of-the-art equipment, including the Biodex un-weighting system and a line of Quantum & Sci-Fit exercise equipment. As well as, the Phoenix Thera-Lase system, which is a class four, cold laser that is used by professional NFL & NBA teams and athletes for rehabilitation.

We are now happy to bring our superior hands-on skills to my hometown of the Syosset/Jericho community. We are committed to excellence in our new 8,000 sq. ft. faculty that is tailored to maximize results.

As always, my primary goal when treating patients is to provide quality one-on-one physical therapy allowing our patients to progress with rehab in the most timely and efficient manner possible.  SoundSide stands for quality care with a personal touch.
